Your LinkedIn URL is shown in the address bar of your browser once you got to your profile. This is the simplest way to get it. Our tip is to personalize your LinkedIn profile URL if it’s not already done. To do so:
1. Go to your LinkedIn profile.
2. Click on “Edit Public Profile and URL” on the top right hand side.
3. Under the “Edit your custom URL” section, click on the blue pencil.
4. Modify your URL with any text you want.
Keep in mind that spaces and special characters are forbidden. Your personalized URL on LinkedIn must also be between 3 and 100 characters long and must be unique (it should not have already been used by another member of the network).

1. Install the LinkedIn app on your smartphone and open it.

There are a few rules to follow in order to create an effective LinkedIn QR code:
- If you plan on printing your QR code, it’s size should at least be 1.2 inches (3-4 cm) in dimension for people to be able to scan it. However, always make sure to do a scan test.
- Place it in the right position, where people will be able to quickly see it and scan it. It should be noticeable right away on your marketing material and from a reasonable distance (at least 4 meters).
